Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on the Draft Maroondah Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan.
The Maroondah Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) was formally endorsed at the Council Meeting on Monday 29 April, 2019, and sets out a strategic framework to inform the role of Council in working towards reconciliation in Maroondah based on the principles of equality, equity, recognition, respect, celebration, innovation and collaboration.
Key actions included under four focus areas within the plan will allow Council to continue to prioritise and promote understanding and reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.

non-Indigenous Australians. It is about respect for Aboriginal and Torres
Strait Islander heritage and valuing justice and equity for all Australians.
