Council is seeking your feedback on the draft Maroondah COVID-19 Recovery Plan which will guide our priorities for recovery, beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.
We recently surveyed our community to find out more about how the COVID-19 Pandemic and restrictions were impacting you and your families. We had a huge response to our survey, which has provided valuable insights and informed the development of the draft Maroondah COVID-19 Recovery Plan. The draft Plan will guide us as we transition from responding to the pandemic to understanding the impacts to long term recovery.
The draft plan aims to strengthen our community and local economy. It sets out a number of priorities and actions, across seven key recovery areas:
Caring for our people
Connecting our community
Sustaining our community facilities
Supporting community leadership and advocacy
Rebuilding livelihoods and business activation
Revitalise cultural and creative industries
Enhancing our connection with nature
The priority actions for each recovery area describe how Council will work towards these outcomes with our community and in partnership with other levels of government, local organisations and agencies.
Please see the document library on this page for copies of the draft Maroondah COVID-19 Recovery Plan, Consultation Report and Social Profile.
