Maroondah City Council’s draft Asset Plan is a legislated document required under Section 92 of the Local Government Act 2020. It is intended to be a strategic document that informs the community on how assets are to be managed to achieve the Council Plan objectives and Community Vision statement in a financially sustainable manner.
The draft Asset Plan has been informed by the outcomes of recent engagement activities for the development and interim review of the Maroondah 2040 Community Vision; Maroondah COVID-19 Recovery Plan; Maroondah Liveability, Wellbeing and Resilience Strategy; and the deliberative engagement of a 40 member community panel. Council is now seeking additional community input in the final stage of the Asset Plan’s development.
