The following consultation methods were used to hear from children, young people and families:
- Your Say Maroondah engagement portal
- Online surveys
- Ideas board
- Q&A tool
- Consultation groups - face to face groups with children, parents/carers
- Online and hardcopy surveys in partnership with Department of Education and Training (DET) and Melbourne University
- “Tell me a Story” drawing competition
- Hardcopy surveys available at customer service centres
- Hardcopy Ideas submission form
- Maroondah Festival Tree Activity
You can see a summary of our consultation findings to date below, and if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
Next steps:
Consultation findings are now being used to inform Council’s new Children & Families Strategy and Action Plan, and the new Action Plan for Council’s existing Youth Strategy.
Updates will be available on this page as these projects progress, as will information about further opportunities for the community to be involved in shaping up the Action Plans.
