2025 update: Provide feedback on our draft Communications Strategy!
Good communication is vital to everything we do at Maroondah. As part of our commitment to provide engaging, timely and accessible communications to the Maroondah community, we have developed the draft Communications Strategy 2025-2029 that informs how, when and what we communicate, establishing a framework to ensure we provide effective and accessible communications to our community.
The strategy has been developed with community feedback, advice from advisory committees as well as best practice and emerging trends and technologies in relation to communications. With this feedback we have created a vision for communications at Maroondah over the next four years.
'Our vision is to provide relevant, effective and engaging communications for our community that are accessible and inclusive now and adapting into the future. We create communications that inform Maroondah residents on Council’s projects, programs, activities, events and services and empower them to be involved in Council’s activities and consultations. We are adaptive and creative, using communication channels appropriately and in a format that is accessible for all different members of our diverse community.'
