Thank you to those who provided feedback late last year on how you currently engage with Council's arts and cultural facilities and creative offerings as well as what you would like to see prioritised in future.

Your feedback has helped inform the draft Creative Maroondah Strategy 2026-2030 which provides a vision, priorities and implementation framework for creative service delivery and looks to expand on the current Arts and Culture Strategy 2020-2025.

The new draft strategy encompasses the full suite of Council's creative facilities and offerings, comprising Wyreena Community Arts Centre, Artspace at Realm, Maroondah Federation Estate and Gallery, arts development and activation, precinct planning, public art and indoor art collections, Karralyka theatre and function services, community halls and K-Cafes.

We are excited to present this draft strategy which has been developed with community feedback, advice from advisory committees as well as best practice and emerging trends.
