Croydon Structure Plan 2025 adopted

At the 21 July 2025 Council meeting the Croydon Structure Plan 2025 and the related Development Contributions Plan were adopted. Find out more at the Croydon Activity Centre Structure Plan page.

Project background

As an Activity Centre (Croydon AC), Croydon provides a suburban focal point for services, employment, housing, public transport, and social interaction.

In 2006, Maroondah City Council prepared the first Structure Plan for Croydon. A lot has happened since then. We are now checking back in with the community to review and update the Plan to ensure it is in line with current social, environmental and economic challenges and opportunities.

Council prepared a Discussion Paper to explore future opportunities for Croydon Activity Centre. These include housing, businesses, environment, urban design, transport, and community infrastructure opportunities.
