Have your say on the draft plan

Following community consultation in March 2025, Council has drafted the Domestic Animal Management Plan 2026-29.

Thank you to those who provided their valuable feedback. We heard from over 1,000 community members, with every piece of feedback helping to inform the development of the draft plan.

The Domestic Animal Management plan will inform Council’s animal management service priorities over the next four years.

Whether you are a pet owner or not, have your say on the draft plan by 12noon, Friday 10 October.
