The Councillor Gifts Policy is a new requirement of the Local Government Act 2020 and sets out the compulsory standards set out by the Act for the receipt and disposal of gifts and gratitudes and to define the parameters by which gifts and gratitudes must be declined specifically in relation to Councillors.
