In 2022, Council asked our community and key stakeholders for their thoughts on Maroondah’s stadium facilities and training venues.
A draft strategy was developed and placed on public exhibition in June 2023 for key stakeholder and community feedback. Thank you to those who provided feedback during these consultations. Your feedback has helped inform the adopted Stadium Sports Strategy.
Council adopted the Stadium Sports Strategy at the 18 September 2023 Council Meeting. You can view the strategy on Council's website.

Consultation - June 2023
In 2022, Council asked our community and key stakeholders for their thoughts on Maroondah’s stadium facilities and training venues.
This feedback has helped Council develop the Draft Stadium Sport Strategy, with the aim of ensuring sports stadiums continue to meet the needs of our community into the future.
We are now inviting the community and key stakeholders to view the Draft Stadium Sport Strategy and share feedback to help us to understand if the Draft Strategy meets the needs of the community and stakeholders in Maroondah.
