About the project
Located on the corner of Canterbury Road and Campbell Street in Heathmont, this open space will be improved to ensure it meets the needs of the community now and into the future.
We asked you what this reserve means to you, what improvements you’d like to see and how you currently visit the area. You can find information on key elements of the project below.
Protect and celebrate bushland
- Preserve and enhance remnant bushland, habitat, and biodiversity while allowing people to experience nature.
Play, gather and connect
- Create inclusive spaces where people of all ages and abilities can play, socialise and spend time together.
Accessible and well-connected
- Improve pathways, entrances and connections so the reserve is easy to access and move through.
Spaces for wellbeing
- Provide areas for relaxation, nature play and quiet enjoyment.
A park for the future
- Create a safe, resilient and adaptable reserve that reflects local identity and meets future needs.
