Consultation has concluded

Consultation on the draft Liveability and wellbeing Strategy has now closed and we thank you all for sharing your thoughts and ideas with us.

The current Maroondah Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2017-2021 is due to conclude in 2021 and will be replaced by the new Maroondah Liveability and Wellbeing Strategy 2021-2031.

Maroondah’s Liveability and Wellbeing Strategy 2021-2031 will provide longer-term direction for Council and give an opportunity for the creation of a holistic strategy covering key priorities to improve the health and wellbeing of the Maroondah community.

Council is focusing on 8 key topics:

Council is also completing research on various social issues to ensure we develop an integrated action plan as part of the Strategy.

The results of the research and community consultation will be used to determine where Council should focus its Liveability and Wellbeing efforts.
