Proposed Parkwood Dog Park

Maroondah City Council has received funding from the Victorian Government Local Parks Program, to construct a new off-leash dog park at the former Parkwood College site in Tortice Drive, Ringwood North.

The proposed dog park will be fully enclosed and will include:

  • a digging pit area
  • tree and landscaping areas
  • dog education/training items
  • dry creek bed for sensory play
  • perimeter walking/jogging track
  • water/drinking area
  • rock clamber mound for sensory play
  • natural elements such as logs, mulch and sand.

We are currently seeking feedback from the community and dog owners on the proposed concept plan. Please share your thoughts on the proposed elements or what you think should be included.
