<p> </p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>Our sense of place is linked to our understanding of our environment and where we have come from. The traditional owners of the area were the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation more than 40,000 years ago. Today, Maroondah is home to Mullum Mullum Indigenous Gathering Place, which brings together community members from across the eastern region who have diverse Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island histories.
