At the August Council meeting, Council adopted the Communications Strategy 2025-2029, which will help provide strategic guidance and direction for our communication with the Maroondah community.

Mayor of Maroondah, Councillor Kylie Spears, said the new strategy aims to ensure our diverse community can access Council information in a timely, efficient way.

“The Communications Strategy aims to capture what is currently being done well in the communications space, as well as outlining new goals, key directions and priority actions to achieve over the next four years. This will help Council ensure that our communications are responsive, accessible, relevant and effective. Its aim is that all residents are informed and engaged on Council projects and decisions, and that they can engage and participate in our services, programs and activities,” Cr Spears said.
