The first round of community consultation on the Draft Eastfield Park Enhancement Plan commenced in February 2018, where 535 residents contributed to the project via surveys and face to face consultation at Eastfield Park, Main Street Croydon and Council offices.

The feedback received, along with data from our strategic research and analysis, helped to develop an initial concept design for Eastfield Park.

In June, 2018 we shared the draft concept design with user groups and the local community to gauge their thoughts and ideas, and to hear their suggestions. Given the wide spread interest in the project, we then expanded the consultation to the broader community, which included hosting four open community consultation sessions, and an on-line survey. The sessions were very well attended and the online response was extensive.

We appreciate the time taken by those who have attended a session or submitted their feedback online. We recognise the importance of reviewing the initial enhancement plan for Eastfield Park, and are committed to continuing to work with current users of the reserve and the broader community.
